Grand Stands, Inc. (“Grand Stands”) warrants to the original customer (“Purchaser”) that each product sold hereunder (i) shall be free from defects in material or workmanship and (ii) shall have the following limited warranties.  Additional warranties may be provided in an Acknowledgment.

Ergonomic Accessories (excluding items listed with special warranty periods):

Limited lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects: Grand Stands will provide replacement parts for the defective item free of charge within the U.S.A.  Labor and service is not included, and the warranty is subject to the Exclusions below.  Purchaser is responsible for all labor required for the installation of replacement parts.

L-Series Electric Table Base:

Five years on manufacturing defects on all metal parts and electrical components. Grand Stands will provide replacement parts for the defective item free of charge within the U.S.A.  Labor and service is not included, and the warranty is subject to the Exclusions below.  Purchaser is responsible for all labor required for the installation of replacement parts.

Monitor Support Gas Cylinder:

Two-year warranty: Grand Stands will provide replacement parts for the defective item free of charge within the U.S.A. for a period of two years from original purchase.  Labor and service is not included, and the warranty is subject to the Exclusions below. Purchaser is responsible for all labor required for the installation of replacement parts.

“Exclusions”: These warranties do not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear is to be expected over the course of ownership and Grand Stands will not provide replacement parts for normal wear and tear.
  • Warranty does not apply when the usage exceeds normal single shift, 40-hour week commercial use.
  • Damage caused by shipping carrier.In such situations Purchaser may seek reimbursement upon (1) refusal of shipment or (2) submission of proof of damage by shipping carrier, in a form acceptable to shipping carrier.
  • Failures resulting from accident, misuse, neglect, modification or usage contrary to product instructions.
  • Damage attributable to acts of nature.
  • Service by anyone other than authorized Grand Stands, Inc. personnel.

Grand Stands shall not be liable for special, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of goodwill, profits, revenue, loss of the use of this product, or any associated equipment, downtime costs, or claims resulting from the use of this product or arising from breach of the warranty contract.  To the extent damages are allowed by our express warranty or by applicable law, those damages may not exceed the purchase price paid for the product. Without limiting the foregoing Purchaser assumes all risk and liability for loss, damage or injury to Purchaser and Purchaser’s property and to others and their property arising out of the use, misuse, or inability to use a product.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.  The above warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
